Bring those needs along with your inspiration photos. Seeing cabinet and countertop samples together can help you compare a whole room rather than choosing each finish separately.

Bring a rough room sketch showing wall lengths, doors and windows, plus dimensions or model information for appliances you plan to keep or replace. Approximate measurements are useful for the first conversation; final measurements and the approved layout need to be confirmed before cabinets are ordered.

What happens after the first cabinet conversation?

The next step is to define your package and the information needed for a project-specific quote. Discuss cabinet selection, delivery, installation, removal of existing cabinets, countertops, plumbing or electrical changes, and any other work you want included. Ask which items are included, which need a separate allowance or quote, and what current product availability means for your target date.
